§ 1-13. Issuance of summons and complaint in lieu of arrest for violation of certain ordinances and statutes.

Any law enforcement officer of the city or state may, in lieu of placing persons under custodial arrest, issue a summons and complaint to any person charged with violating any ordinances or law specified or mentioned in Code of Ala. 1975, § 11-45-9.1. It is the intent of the council to exercise the maximum authority granted by Code of Ala. 1975, § 11-45-9.1, as amended.
