§ 6-4. Posting on public property.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to paint, print or post or in any way affix any picture, bill, banner or advertising matter of any kind upon any post, public utility pole, shade tree, hydrant, curb, sidewalk or any other public structure, building or property or to erect any pole on any public property for such purposes or to cause any of such to be done, unless express consent therefor shall first be obtained from the city council. This shall not apply to the posting of legal or official notices.
